Pros

The msata plug style. Coral ai card is about the cheapest card ever produced, it has three diodes, seven capacitors, five resistors. The quest is detected by the pc as usb3 and charges the device while using.

It does the job of repurposing old nvme drives. The same drive in my laptop gets 3550 mb/s. Its called ngff (new generation form factor) type b sata drives.

Easy install in old hp slimline. No compatibility issues or other problems with the process. Aside from the antenna problem, this card works great.

A big improvement but not quite blazing. Works as advertised. Trick is do it at a certain angle and to push really hard.

Cons

Device headline states it is x4, is actually x1. It was doa, maybe it works for some people but for me it wasn't usable. Physical design of it indicates b&m not willing to buy an m.

Quality

The quality of this model is very good, and the materials are also very good.

Encountered no compatibility issues or other problems with the process.

The bios did not recognize it with the latest 8.

I recommend finding adapters with the longer antennae, these just don't cut it for across the home use.

970 evo nvme is now my boot drive!

Competitiveness

It does give me more storage in the old desktop and faster than the sata 3gb ports (i have 2 sata 6gb and 4 sata 3gb ports).

It does the job of repurposing old nvme drives.

This is basically a long thin sata drive that looks like a nvme but its not.

0 in my solid hp compaq pro sff pc.
