Card seems well built so we will see how it lasts under constant home media server load. Ships with eight good quality long (20 inch plus) sata cables with flat connectors and metal clips. And the pcb is black, looks nice too.

Hdd. This is nowhere close to 6gb/s. The same poor performance was observed with both mdadm or zfs.
