I am able to run all 8 drives on the card in a software raid with no issues as well the os recognizes the drives not different that drives connected to the mobo

Ive been looking for a pcie raid card with at least a 6 disk capacity and the best i could find at microcenter was only a four drive capacity card for nearly 70 which is just outrageous considering the fact that two years prior to this purchase bought a six drive capacity raid card at the same micro center for 28
