Pros

Great product. Worth every penny. Reviewing after 2 years of near daily use. It does the trick.

Use it to keep my lunch cool. It also adds some durability. It's for things like temporary hems and tacking fabric. Comes with a red sleeve to use more or less as a secondary backup protection source.

Cons

Buyer beware. The title is either incorrect or i was only shipped 50% of my order.

The colored sleeve has a a couple of tiny, protruding knobs that are supposed to catch on an outward-molded bar on the bottle. The blue sleeve is worthless.

The cap isn't captive (and was pounded on so tight tools were required to remove the first one sent). The outer shot glass cap is high quality enough, but quite loose, and i know it will fall off the second i put it into my backpack. The cap is advert... Read More

Only the colored outer sheath is constructed that way. It is difficult to set it upright unless on a perfectly flat, level surface. The red insulator part falls off too easily.

Sleeve takes up too much room as does the 1oz cap/cup.

May favorite part - and explains why this is what we all used to call "normal" quality is that this is not made in china.

Packaging/appearance

Minus one star for a need to modify right out of the box.

Would like to see a better fit out of the box.

Competitiveness

The blue protective sleeve and blue shot 1oz volume top are unnecessary if you want to pack this and save some weight.

I try to be a lightweight to ultra-lightweight backpacker.

I bought this may 2016 as a water bottle for shorter hikes.
