Pros

The spout makes for no spills while drinking. No disgusting straws to clean. If it does get musty though, putting it through the dishwasher (top rack) cleans it well.

Year-old loves drinking out of this milk bottle. The handle makes it a little weird to drink from, but he doesn't mind. The bottle fits perfectly in a sistema to go lunch box.

Cons

The latch isn't very child friendly. The plastic latch broke on every single one i purchased. Does not stay upright on a table with lid open unless there is liquid inside.

Only 12oz of water/liquid isn't worth the hassle of the lid. The lid also appears like it will break easily. Do not recommend, disappointed in nalgene product.

Lightweight, durable, and the little loop is handy for attaching to things.

Wide mouth bottles, and i trust that they will be as durable as these.

Our 2 year old has mastered another no-straw bottle with a better lock design, but still struggling with this one.

The lid is heavy and throws off the bottle balance, when it's empty, making him spill water and not able to close it.

Competitiveness

I purchased these in 2016 and will never buy any of that crap you find at walmart again.
