Pros

The latching and seal design is the best i've found, no need for a breather hole or straw to clean. I love that it has the latch over the bottle opening. The one downside is the rubber stopper on the lid.

Lids for nalgene containers are made by horrible polluting factories. The hole is the perfect size for gulping without spilling while you’re moving. I am clumsy so this has prevented several spills.

On the fly has a taller and slimmer shape than the wide mouth or multi drink. They are slim enough to fit in my backpack and cupholder. Not heavy or clunky, easy to fit almost anywhere.

Cons

The rubber in the cap turns moldy easily. This reviewer is very disappointed.

There is a quarter-size plastic piece in the lid that falls into the opening from which you drink. It is very flimsy and i do not trust it not to leak. Latch barely even catches. After a couple of years it wears out just enough so that it slowly leaks... Read More

Lock fell off after 2 days but it doesn't really bother me

The mold is in the surface of the rubber and can't be removed.

Competitiveness

This size is easier to use & carry along than the larger twist-cap nalgene.

If they all develop mold, i may switch to another brand that also have quick release caps (there are 2 other brands worth considering imo).

Also, nalgene, thank you for making a usa product where the most labor costly piece is made elsewhere.
