Pros
The canteen is awesome. I have 10 nalgene bottles already lol.
Cons
This is a beautiful-looking bottle but it is not durable. Easily dented if dropped. Quite disappointing.

Quality
I am very happy with this product.
Good quality product as always by nalgene.
But a smell with the lid even after washing it three times.
Fyi - this bottle does not nest with the stanley pot but does nest nicely with the gsi cup.
Packaging/appearance
Initially tried the klean kanteen and prefer this one much more.
My only concern & at this i am rather peeved; there is a made in china label affixed to the bottle.
It will weigh add a few more ounces/grams in the pack.
Competitiveness
There is a 32oz version but i bought the 38oz for the straight sides.
Stouter & slightly thicker & heavier than my klean canteens.
Only downsides are that unlike most (if not all) other nalgene bottles, this one is not made in the usa.

I was under the impression that nalgene was a usabased company with its products produced in the us

But then you stick your hand inside try to feel the top inside edge that you cant see now its rough

If you order this buy a fish spreader at the same time so you can hang it over a fire for boiling

Remove the lid and use fish spreader to heat water in the bottle

Also there is a slight bit metallic taste to the water
