It's not sticky or oily. It smells really nice and more importantly works really well and deet free. Easy to take when you travel or go for a hike.

I had purchased a different brand but it was no longer available so i tried this from nantucket spider.

There is no deet but it works better than many products with deet.

Update: i can verify that nantucket spider repels tsetse flies in africa even better than cutters 25% deet, which everyone else was using.
