Its an expensive set currently in the thirty dollar range and you dont get much for your money a handful of new playmate a handful of new small cards and the instructions all in a box that is clearly meant to be thrown away once the contents are incorporated into the base game

Adding the dynasties to the base game does make for a friendlier game so those who like their nations game to be cutthroat might want to try before you buy
