The idea is that they stick to the shoe in the spot you need and if you leave them there they will stay put

I find that if stuck to a new shoe they are okay and stay put for a while but after a while the ball of the foot does shift around so it has to be repositioned

If you put these on shoes that are dirty or heavily worn they dont seem to stick as well

I found that washing these did renew the sticky but it did not seem to work quite as well as in the beginning
