The brown color is a lighter brown because of the contrast stitching which i like…the fact that they’re not solid dark brown means they won’t show every little bit of cat hair 😵💫 etc

Our stairs turn so on the one odd step where the mat didnt fit i cut off the corner and sewed the edging back on which looks great

I found that by starting in the middle and loosening all of the plastic backing completely on both halves before pulling it off helped it come off more easily
