I was putting it in warm water letting it cool then adding it to the metamucil but found that to be not as effective

Its not like the mag citrate that you get in the clear liquid at the store in the pharmacy that is way to sweet with those fake flavors that will cramp you up and clean you out maybe even abruptly

No this product is calming gentle helps relax you and is just a good overall maintenance on the digestive system in my experience to where you can have a normal lifestyle with of course the appropriate amount of selfcontrol from things you dont need like excessive sweets and try to work in a salad everyday or something of that sort

Some people prefer to chill their water even making batches ahead and chilling but it is super simple to make so i just make my one glass fresh everyday and sip on it right away especially since a lukewarm to warm glass of water is best for you in the mornings anyway for digestion instead of cold water at least your first glass anyway
