The quality is good - about what you would expect, but as a parent i appreciate the reusable bucket that comes with it. An advanced 2-year-old should still enjoy this despite the labelled 3+ age recommendation. My 4 yr old really enjoys this.
The net, magnifying glass, and scooper are his favorites. The variety of containers are extremely handy. It is nice to have the large container to store everything in.

A few things that could be improved catching net with smaller holes and i told like that the tubes are blue and cloudy instead of clear for better observing
