My technique 1st paper towels to get up all the matter vomited foodhairballspoopurine as much as possible 2nd alcohol wipes to scrub away any residual stuff as much of the stain as possible alcohol evaporates doesnt leave the carpet wet 3rd natures miracle wipes for further scrubbing putting down the cleaning enzymes 4th if the mess is really tough ill do a final pass with natures miracle advanced formula spray then cover the area so kitties cannot accidentally walk on the product and then lick it off their fur

It also doesnt actually spectacular job with cleaning up poop accidents
