This is an amazing feature that i seldom see in tents costing hundreds of dollarsdries fairly fastcleans very easily especially if you just need to get the sandleavesdebris etc out just grab it lift it up and turn it sideways with the insect mesh fully open it will all fall out

Conscondensationdew will occur on the inside of the rainfly but will not enter tent if rainfly is staked to create the gap between it and the insect meshnot well ventilated with the rainfly in place but putting the window in the open position provides a surprising amount of ventilation without letting any rain innot much room in the tent for gear although there is an entrance vestibule for thatthere is only one trinketpocket and while located well for easy access when lying down is a bit small and oddly shaped to be useful triangular in addition anything with even a small amount of weight to it tends to pull the insect mesh in a bit reducing interior space by a tiny amountgetting in and out around the rainfly isnt easy

I also spent the first year not staking the rainfly and never got anything more than the odd drop or two of condensation in the tent even when it rained

Only gave it 4 start because i have not tested it in the elements so far

Note tent came inside out which made it a little confusing at first but not a problem

One of the dogs tore it down the next day and put holes in the mesh so i had to order another
