I wanted to see how simple this was to set up when tired and in the dark so i timed my first try with no instructions took just over 2 minutes for the base tent another minute for the fly

But is overly ventillated with a rainfly that gaps at the bottom making it drafty

It ended up raining as my daughter and niece were camping out in the backyard and they didnt have any issues with rain coming in until they opened the door

No rain so can’t speak to waterproofness

You probably could at max save maybe 2 or 3 ounces by swapping out the stakes but thats it

Other lightweight tents in this price range will advertise a lower weight than this but its misleading because they will advertise something under 4 pounds but thats as an ul setup without the inner fly

There are clips on the 4 corners male on the outer fly and female on the inner fly and footprint so you can clip the outer fly to either depending on whether or not youre using the inner fly
