We had a similar clock previously which had a low working noise from new but become increasingly louder after about a year to the point where we threw it out this clock is completely silent as other reviewers have said

Attractive casing illuminated face however the controls on the back are a bit small and fiddly

The attraction of the clock is that it lights up with a simple press of the knob at the top of the clock plus a snooze function
