Everytime you sharpen the knife it looses grit and goes smooth. After just three months of a sunday roast its smooth in many places and no longer sharpens. Unless i have the misfortune to receive a dud product, this is an absolute waste of money.

Normal sharpening steels are just steels with little ridges they dont remove material from the knife edge
