After getting my multimeter on it it turned out the 8v 6v the 12v 15v and the 24v 28vin summary if exact voltages aren’t needed then it’s absolutely fine but as this nearly fried my £150 doorbell i’m a little annoyed i’ve since wired it to the 12v terminal which apparently is close enough to 16v that it is no working as i need it
