When traveling by air its always been a pain to bring my rolled up yoga mat often necessitating a larger or additional suitcase

The other advantage of the folding mat is that you can keep the floorside down side on the outside instead of rolling it onto the side you lay on so you dont have to clean both sides every use as long as you pay attention to how you lay it down each time

Its thin as advertised and i doubt it would hold up well to exercise with sneakers on it but for anything socksbare feet it should give you a decent amount of use before deteriorating
