Because of the compressed section edges, there is a risk it will fall apart earlier than other travel mats with flat designs. Folding and unfolding will weaken those edges.

It is also narrow some of my exercises i was touching the floor which defeats the purpose of the mat

For someone that maybe wears socks it might work better but i cant say for sure since i did not try that

Its thin as advertised and i doubt it would hold up well to exercise with sneakers on it but for anything socksbare feet it should give you a decent amount of use before deteriorating
