I would highly recommend for those that drink a lot of tea that cant be bothered to wait for the kettle or nip off to do something else whilst its boiling then have to boil it again because they were away too long

Before i went to bed that night around midnight i emptied out the water and burnt myself on it so by this i will say it will hold liquid warmhot for many hours
