I spent close to 30 to make the system work with rechargeable batteries so over 50 spent total for one motion detector disappointed to spend that much for one unit be aware there is one battery that comes included a 23a for remote it takes three different types of batteries 3 c type for receiver 3 aaa type for sensor remote will not attach to key ring no plug in included oh well
