The action is good, locks reliably. It's super adorable and absolutely gorgeous.
Sharp blade edge. Hardness of the blade is excellent, symmetry is excellent,. Leather strap is excellent. The colours are beautiful and the tassel is a nice touch.
When the sun catches the real abalone handle, it glints and shimmers prismaticly. I love the heavy coat of clear resin on top of what looks like abalone shells. Thick resin gives depth to the shells' patterns.
This seems to have the weight and durability of a feather. The blade detent is a little stiff for super quick opening. A drop of oil may help, and it will probably get smoother with wear.
Mine has a more yellow hue as to the website color having a more blue hue. This is understandable because maybe the lighting can cause this problem or maybe these are not mass produced so the materials vary from forge master to forge master. Outweighs... Read More
