Pros

I whole-heartedly recommend this game. It isn't too hard nor too easy, although not original, it still is very addictive. Overall, this game is a sh*&load of fun and will continue to be as long as you own it.

Game is great for all gamers and anyone that's into racing games will not be able to put this one down. The game offers fun for racers and non-racers alike. Is one of the best racing games for the ps2, better than gran turismo.

The cops are on your tail, and sending reinforcements! Play as the cops with some mean machines. The catch up feature is cool, and i like how traffic moves over to the right for you when you are flashing your lights.

Cons

The graphics are great and the physics are great, but there is just no fun in this game after a couple days playing it. The graphics aren't all that great, with a very grainy appearance and a funny framerate. The soundtrack is rather lacking.

Some tracks are ok but unlike previous installs of nfs the tracks seem to 'blend' together. Visibility on certain tracks is rather bad as at some points along the track you cannot see where the next corner is until you are crashing into it.

I love the tournaments in championship mode.

I like nfs better because the controls are a bit easier and control of the car is much more managable.
