Items work as expected now i can run cameras using cat6 cable pairs and not have to worry about the expense of having to buy rg-59 cable.
I use a pair of same-colored wire (cat-5) for each connection for max results.

These are good if you do not need more than 100 feet or so with no nearby electrical devices which could get into the signal

For longer than about 100 feet i have had better luck with the higher priced balun which are bigger because they have a coil inside to actually provide a proper balun function for reducing pickup of other signals

You could also use these as a cheap way to connect coax if you do not mind loosing some of the isolation by putting the signal and shield to the screw connectors
