Pros & Cons

Pros

Will accept any camera and tripod by the looks of it. Mounting at 24mm or 28mm means that the end of the nodal rail is inside the clamp itself with no overhang. I have it mounted on my sigma 150-600mm lense, which is mounted on a gimbal tripod head.

This attachment allows me to balance the camera so that even if the pivot is loosened enough for me to tilt the camera manually, it will not tilt down by itself. The * do their job despite the knobs not offering the best grip for my hands.

This is one of the 4 pieces i needed for my nodal panorama head. Tried stitched photos without it and always fought parallax. Useful for stacking multi-row panoramas.

I expect it will continue for a while. This rail is no exception. Does exactly what it's meant to do.

The bubble levels also happen to be accurate unlike the few others that i have. Does the trick for much less than many other brands on the market.

Cons

The spring loaded bracket needs to be better designed. It serves for other things less for macro photography. The rail looks good but the one i received had an uneven rail width.

Quality

It is well made and exactly what i expected/

This is a good solid grip equipment.

Just because it has neewer written on it does not mean it's cheaply made.

Tried stitched photos without it and always fought parallax.

Price

Excellent for the price, nice and sturdy.

My intent was for the price it was worth a gamble to be able to mount my camera body to my gimbal head.

For the money but when you consider the cost, it was especially a great deal.

As nodal rails go, this is inexpensive and simple.

Shipping

Will use this for setting up to take panorama photos while i wait for a more elaborate device to ship from europe.

Competitiveness

Just as good as the expensive brands, maybe better.

I almost can't understand how other competitive products can cost so much more when my sample at least was superbly made.

That means when mounted on a tripod if the pivot on the tripod is loosened to allow moving the camera it tends to tilt down unless the pivot is again tightened
