Ive also had it not fire once or twice but thats more likely the cheap wireless triggers i picked up to pair with it

Distance is approximately 10feet away from subject and the strobe is lighting everything just fine with the flash turned all the way down

If your camera does not have a pc sync port like the canon t3i you will need some kind of adapter

Flash refresh at full brightness does take 45 seconds but that’s probably ok because you model will likely need that much time to regain their vision as well
