I bought this modifier to use with the godox sl-60 led video light.

Save that one for last to help with the stronger tension at that point.

Upon receipt i sat on the floor and assembled the rods into the softbox in about 3 minutes without instructions.

They can help align the rods, though the rods will still slip out of the pockets.

My only complaint would be it's somewhat difficult to collapse and reassemble, but not much more than other softboxes i've used.

On the negative side, it gets a little hairy trying to open and close a softbox of this size that literally opens up like an umbrella.
