Everything slides back and forth and locks in place well. They can also be easily re-ordered. I may try applying some thread-locker to them to see if that helps hold them in place.
Highlights
Quality
The 3 adjustable points (mid fulcrum) and both end mounts are well designed, easy to move, and easy to lock down.
The whole thing is very sturdy and solid.

It has the 3 3/8 inch threaded mounts on it for equipment and goes through a base that tilts and rotates.
Price
A super-nice piece of photography gear at a great price!
Competitiveness
The beefy design is somewhat akin to italian manfrotto photography gear, at least to my mind.
