Everything slides back and forth and locks in place well. They can also be easily re-ordered. I may try applying some thread-locker to them to see if that helps hold them in place.

Works well for taking top down photos in a light box for product photosgt i dont like that it is primarily 3816 threaded on all internal and external threads and the 1420 adapters have very little surface area to stabilize what is mounted the reverse would have worked better also a counter weight hook on the back end would have been nice especially with a heavy lens on the camera end
