I was hoping to be able to use the individual parts of this magic arm on their own but the way this is designed you can not separate the arm from the clamp

While the build quality of the magic arm is good the included phone holder is just plastic and is something i would probably never use

Unfortunately i can’t find the max load size for this and it’s not mentioned in the instruction manual either but i would imagine it’s only the smaller mirrorless if you try to use this with a dslr

The phone clamp also has an extra ¼ inch thread on it so you can attach other accessories such as small lights
