They work perfectly ok and slip in and out with appropriate mild force.
My first impressions of these hot shoe covers wasl that they are cheaply made.
They did not fit my nikon d3400; very tight that i don’t want to force and possibly damaging something.
Price
Overall a decent product but it is quite expensive i feel for £8.
They are much cheaper than my standard fuji covers .

I tried on a nikon z50 but also a sony a7iv, they fit well on both cameras.
These are a slightly different design to most branded hot shoe covers that you'd get with your new camera.

The neweer hot show covers were delivered in a small plastic envelope which ion reality could have been a small piece of card for environmental purposes but i suppose it was minimal in size

The simple push on and push off works as it should with a little but not too much force needed ion either direction with the arrow to indicate the posh off direction
