I've a few neewer products and have always been impressed with the quality.
Although the plastic quality is low its a value for your money.
The quality of the product is not as good as others costing hundreds of pounds,but for 25 pounds i can't grumble.

I like the ring flash in general but there is a major flaw in that there is no way of securing the ring flash in to a fixed position

Works perfectly for what i need it for on my cannon ae1 program the flash even works but for some reason the camera at the same time doesnt acknowledge there is a flash attached at the same time

Remember that it will be nowhere as powerful as a standard flash gun

Note on using it as a flashthis is not a substitute for a traditional fast ring flashi think that it is a flash only do far as when it gets the sync signal from the camera it just ramps up the diodes from off to the same level as for the continuous light and then switches it off a short time later

This is nothing like a true strobe which has to sync accurately within the shutter open time of eg 1200 sec for a typical fp shutter and fires a burst for maybe 11000 to 110000 sec

I think the function of the flash is mostly to conserve battery lifeother points battery case stiff see how it does might be showing it a file soon
