Pros & Cons
Pros
The heliopan variable neutral density filter has a range of nd2 to nd400 which is between 7 and 8 stops of light. It is really neat that you can just twist the filter to change the amount of light it lets in (as opposed to stacking multiple filters) t... Read More
It seems to be free of color cast and works smoothly. Only downsides are that the aarow that points to the darkness of the filter can spin beyond the markings.
I can hardly complain about this filter considering how much it cost. It's convenient to only have to carry one nd filter to cover all of my needs. none, considering the price. If those two things dont bother you, then it is for sure worth the purchas... Read More
Cons

Shipping
Arrived way faster than i thought as i am in canada.
Competitiveness

I get rice colors - and i am able to use photshope to better fix the shot.

The price is extremely low but it does the job with no noticeable image degradation see my series of long exposure photos taken at a small waterfall

Even with a 30 second exposure and the nd filter at its maximum i did not see any problems with the image

The filter came in a flimsy plastic case that was scuffed and there was a large greasy thumbprint on the filter itself

Note that when the filter is attached your lens hood and lens cap will no longer fit
