Pros

It's not the fault of the stand, it's the situation of the hazards at hand. Overall, i’m pleased with how this stand handles the lights that i need positioned.

The tension screws for the two extendable sections have a nice wide contoured handle. The top has a screw connector piece and it has an option of flipping it upside down for the larger size screw. There are support arms that can be positioned to the m...  Read More

This thing is not as crazy solid as a solid steel c-stand but it's a big step up from your average chintzy lightweight light stands. Lightweight but sturdy.

This thing is not as crazy solid as a solid steel cstand but its a big step up from your average chintzy lightweight light stands that come with most background stands and light sets

It took me a few days to try this out think about it and decide whether or not i like it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It is mainly stainless steel in the support arms telescopic poles and what looks to me to be cast aluminum connections between sections with threads made directly into the cast metal

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It also looks to have a chromeplated connector at the top

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

A magnet will stick to the smaller chrome connector at the top but not the telescopic poles or cast connector parts

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The connector pieces just don’t have the look or feel of steel

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The only minor issue is the feet are plastic and attach directly to the bottom of the tripod legs

The feet aren’t swivel as i’ve seen in some before
