I baby my gear and i will only be using it for non-event work lasting more than an hour.

Even for $50, i have to minus one star due to the joystick.

If you need a grip this is definitely a bargain.

( i actually caught this on sale for $35).

If all it did was offer a second battery connection and an extended grip, it would still be worth $50.
