I had a telescoping tripod that i have used to attach to the side of my desk but it has always felt a little flimsy and i would never attach anything besides my phone to it for fear of it tipping over

Anything could be mounted to this that takes a standard 14 screw and of course there are adapters to convert that if you need to

Although it’s not rated for outdoor use i might use it to attach a camera to the patio railing for a few nights to figure out just how many raccoons are digging up my plants
