Pros

It really works and it is very sturdy. The build quality of the arm is def very strong. I think it's just made out of aluminium, but the stability from it is absolutely amazing. I would still buy it again - the functionality is worth it to me.

Cons

This isn't what was advertised. All the mounting holes in this extension are 3/8. Would maybe pay $20 for it.

Quality

Within this price range, build quality is also acceptable.

Competitiveness

I'm using this with neewer carbon fiber 63/160cm tripod and it worked out.

I use it with a sony a6000 and they are great for me as it is robust enough for my camera.

So i hung it from a camvate robin m plate, and a bogey 3 way adjust head w/ a thumb screw.

The boom isn't too top heavy with my rx100 mounted, but i'm hanging a weight on the tripod anyway.
