Pros

The 216 led video light is just perfect for my panasonic camcorder. Small enough to mount on a hot shoe, but bright enough to light almost a whole room with just this. Daylight leds provide a reasonably large field of light.

Lightning is sufficient for me just above the dimmest setting. They have a dimmer built in. Diffusers slide right onto the front for quick and easy swapping of the two.

Cons

Color meter is advertised a spectrometer but guess what folks, its not. I am pretty sure it is a rip off fake light tho as it does not look like the pic advertised.

Light is not consistent, they fade as the battery power fades. The lights only work with alkaline batteries.

This light is not brighter than the cn-160s i currently own, if anything is slightly dimmer. The cn-216 will short out on a high setting. It only has 3 photo cell sensors analyzing 3 narrow bands of the visual spectrum, there is no diffraction grating... Read More

Lasts a long time and i perfer this over a speedlight in most situations.

I perfer using this over a speedlite now for more consistent pictures and it is perfect for videos.
