The mini nato rails are 29mm tall and the width of a standard rail but but the screw holes at the top and bottom are too small to insert a 1434 screw

The center hole is 1434 but it has only a small beveled recess meaning that screwing it to anything through the front side will render it useless as a rail unless you have a flat countersunk screw at which point youre left to contend with the fact that it will spin itself loose with only one attachment point

If you plan to use longer rails as i did the next hurdle will be that the nato clamps have a protruding tab at the bottom edge you can see it in the image highlighting the 34anti drop design34
