Swivel axis is loose, and when i mount my monitor with the neewer camera mount on my cold shoe handle, it locks but the swivel is all over the place.

What initially caught my eye was the prominent wing nut that tightens the shoe onto the hotcold shoe mount

If youve used basic hotcold shoe adapters you know how difficult it can be to get your big fat thumb on a standard thumb wheel then tighten it securely then remove that tight nut quickly

Out of the box the movement was still very tight after loosening the wing screw so i had to adjust the allen screw on the other end to reduce the tension to my liking

Lastly the thumb screw for the 1420 is knurled and thick enough to easily tighten on or loosen off an accessory
