I would have gotten the wider mounting clamp to use it with a macbook or ipad but it didnt occur to me when i ordered it

If you happen to use this with the newer 67mm filter adapter newer case you can only mount this to the with the cold shoe facing the righthand side of the case because if you dont it blocks access to installing the filter adapter

If you dont use the newer 67mm filter accessory then you can mount it facing left right down or up the choice is yours
