All in all, this is a great way to save a few bucks instead of going with smallrig or tiltas options.

The neewer v mount battery plate with arca base plate is certainly far more than a holder for a v mount battery, substantially more.

I tried it with neweers 099 battery without issue as well as smallrigs massive 212wh battery.
