Plastic knobs. Stay solidly in place. Knobs and collars are sturdy also so they shouldn't loosen up with use.

Price

I spent less money on this knowing it was only going to hold speed lights and go to weddings for that very purpose.

I understand you get what you pay for, and i'm okay with that.

I didn't expect this high quality for the affordable price.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging on the other hand is bare minimum.

I can lift it easily but i am not packing it and carrying it around.

Competitiveness

There are way more options out there that are more expensive, and the cheap ones will not stand the wind (i tried).

I have no idea if it is lightweight compared to other stands.
