This thing is extremely heavy and it’s precision made out of steel and i have absolute confidence and using this.
So that feels like a design flaw, or at least a choice i wouldn't make.

I wish i could give it six stars, neewer always makes such good stuff for such crazy affordable pricing!
These adapters may seem expensive , considering it is one piece with no moving parts but they are very useful in the studio.

If you have a cstand you need one of these to expand the use of stand

Its also machined well so swiveling a light doesnt feel sketch like it would on other cheap stands or cheap adapters

The recess with knurling is a bit overly long though which may cause a poor fit with fixtures that dont have the depth to pass all the way down to where it goes back to the full diameter
