It's large enough to act as a soft fill light for vlogging, and to not blind you when you have it in your field of vision. It’s large, soft, versatile and makes home vlogs ect look awesome. Video or photography.

At the higher kelvin degrees, the light indeed moves towards the blue daylight balance but there's an underlying green/cyan tint that can't be corrected for. At 5500 kelvin, things warm us as you'd expect but again it gets off balanced with yellow now... Read More

V-mount battery plate is awsome! It's ok for a work light and really not bad or flimsy industrial design. Build quality is sturdy and made with a metal casing so that's a big plus.

This light is large but flat so very easy to transport. Comes with a sturdy padded case for travel. But nice metal construction, nice 'gig' bag.

I'm surprised these lamps are brighter than my old florescent bulb softboxes. These also have a volume that varies the light output thar you have to turn off each light to get less light. The light is so soft and buttery, no diff or soft boxes needed.... Read More

Cons

The one i received from amazon is defective in the 1-4% brightness range. The color temperature control is defective, with the color temperature jumping abruptly from 3200 kelvin something like 4400kelvin with one single click. Do not buy.

Direct led light panels create much harsher shadows and require a diffuser of soft-box.

My softboxes use 5x 60 watt florescent bulbs for each lamp and these neewer light panels are way brighter and consume less energy.

Price

Great price on a really useful light.

I paid $30 more at least than what used to be the going price.

Get them while you can at this price they will be in short supply.

For this price point, i would expect a stand.
