Pros & Cons
Pros
Matte box prevents glare and lens flare. Works with neewer camera cage and rails. Does a good job of keeping stray light out of the lens.
For 15 bucks, and delivered to my doorstep, whatever. If you need a nearly disposable matte box, this is the one. Most definitely worth the price.
Made from plastic but still feels sturdy. The body without the barn doors is a single piece of pretty strong aluminum, possibly cnc. Just snap it together carefully and no problems.
Grate for pro or beginner and would recommend it. As long as you know what this is, a cheap sun shade, it's great value. To prevent any confusion, this product is not a matte box but rather a sun shade.
Cons
This product is cheaply made and should be at the dollar store. This is one to avoid that serves no purpose and makes other filmmakers look at you funny.

Used this with the neewer camera cage.
The secret here is to install the filter holder with the hood on to your lens.

Although it is more for looks, i think it is well work the price.
Again, another amazing product for an amazing price.
This is a great, light weight, cost effective matte box.
Packaging/appearance
The flaps or wings snap on and off of the the central unit for travel purposes.
Competitiveness
Good value looks great on my nikon d5100 dslr
It works with my canon t6i and my panasonic ag-hmc150.
All in all for the money this matte box does the job for me and costs a fraction of the price of some name brand competitors.
I have a 77mm to 82mm step-up ring from k&f that has an outer diameter of 84.
