I have really had no good luck with the cheap cold shoe mounts that they come with them.
And it definitely doesn’t lock in the plate, whether it’s in the locked or unlocked position.

I use dummy battery with dtap connection and dont have to worry of running out of power

This v mount plate is much smaller than traditional v mount plate and that allows more flexible attachment points

This is a great idea but it may require the large pro gimbal to have enough clearance to fit this plate and the vmount battery

It does not fit in my gh5 cold shoe but for the most part my cameras in cage and i use nato rails

My normal mount for using a vmount to power my monitor and camera has to be clamped directly to my tripod
