I tried a couple of facemask connections to attach a gopro 8 to my helmet

Because it is a modular helmet and the facemask flips up the straps would activate the button which flips up my screen

Both of those had an 34x34 shaped strap set to connect and i thought nothing of it

In fact when i saw the neewer with the 34same34 x pattern i though the same thing would happen but neewer went a different way with the straps the do not have two connections they have one and i believe that is why it doesnt activate the button on the flip up screw

There is a 34curtain34 on the chin that keeps dirt and bugs from flying up into my helmet and that might be positioned so that while the neewer touches the button it doesnt activate it so the facemask stays locked in place

The thing is that due to my motorcycles non standard handlebars they are not round or one piece and then because of the huge dashboard and then the windshield just about the only way to get driver view video is from a helmet camera
