I researched and found a hard gun case that is large enough to accommodate the slider fully assembled but with the legs folded up.
It slides smoothly with the motor, which is quiet so it wont ruin a video shot.
I originally had some issues with the app.

I bought it for moving timelapse videos and it is so perfect for that.
This thing glides smoother than kristi yamaguchi in the 1992 olympics.

Great costeffective product but it lacks support in terms of assembly instructions since the app speaks two languages chinese and english but it is difficult to change the language

The canvas bag that is supplied is only large enough to accommodate the actual slider stripped down so if you need to take it anywhere you have to disassemble and then reassemble
